I am committed to improving the lives of every citizen in this congressional district.  Through outreach and advocacy, we can make a difference. I want to lead on critical issues affecting us, but more importantly, to seek solutions to problems that of major concern to all of us.  I tried to run and win in 2008, but failed to obtain the necessary signatures to gain NYS ballot access.  Along the way, I learned a valuable lesson, and I will make adjustments for any future run. 

                Many people who supported me have encouraged me not to give up, but to keep trying. Their words of encouragement are what motivates me more than anything else.  I have been dedicated to public service my whole adult life (20 years of active duty as a Marine and 20 years as a DOD civilian with the Department of the Army).  I have never lost my drive to serve in elected office.
